At a capacity Christmas Concert in St. Mary's Church, Kirkby Lonsdale, on the 21st December 2024, the band announced that Allan Greenwood will be stepping down as MD. Our new MD Robert Walker will take up the baton in January 2025.

Allan will still be around as MD Emeritus in a supportive role for the band.

Thank you Allan for your nearly 50 years service to the Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band and Community.
